From the "File" Menu, Choose "
"Save:"
At the top, There's a box that says "Save in:"
To the right of that box is a black arrow. Click on the arrow, and choose "Desktop" from the dropdown box.

Below the open window, there's a Line that says
"File Name"
In that box, type in "newsave" (or give it the name of your choice)

Below that, there's a line that says
"Save As":
To the right of that is a black arrow that pulls up a dropdown box. Choose "Tiff"
from the selection in the dropdown box, if it isn't already there.
(Tiff files are used for printing.
     JPG files are used for the web, transparencies, and other things, although they can be used to print with in some programs)

Click on "Save".
